Ah Valentine’s Day. The 14th February. The most romantic day of the year. The internet is awash right now with romantic Valentine’s Day ideas, heartfelt gifts for her, unique Valentine’s Day presents, searches for flowers…
But what do you really want to say? There’s probably some nice little passive aggressive messages that you’d really like to get in there but didn’t know how to. Some of these honest Valentine’s Day cards are the best way to get your point across. Some are a bit harsh, and they’re all hilarious. Choose yours now. Oh and you can buy them all too – most are on Etsy (of course!).
I mean, sure, it’s nice to have a day set aside to celebrate your love – but don’t forget to scatter the odd reminder of your appreciation throughout the year. Sometimes it does feel a bit consumerist. But only if you just buy the old standbys- chocolates, flowers, teddy bear. Even if you do go for that type of thing, try and personalise it a bit.
What did you think then? Could you write a funnier Valentine’s card message? Which could you definitely NOT get away with sending to your loved one?
